Compareing my first and second Interview

Compared to my two interviews, the biggest change from the first to second is that I prepared enough. For my first interview, honestly, I just followed those thirteen basic questions, so there are few following up questions showed up. However, when I did my second interview, I could expend my questions which mean I had more following up questions for my interviewee. I think that I feel a little bit nerves and less experience in my first interview. My first interviewee comes from Vietnam which more likes my country’s culture. And my second interviewee comes from Saida Aribia which I am not familiar with their culture. Therefore, I urgented to know more about their culture. Because we both are international students, trying to understand what each other’s want to expression and to catch their key points are very important. When I recorded my first interview, I heard it over and over again, I just trying to find what things I not did well. Something I need to learn is that do not ask they some questions which answer is “yes” or “no”. I need to add more sentences such as “what do you think” or “what is your opinions about it” in front of my questions. Then, interviewee will answer more about these questions. I am very happy because I felt confidence during my second interview. I can ask their questions more fluently. Because I am very nerves at first time, I felt my interviewee may feel boring. But they just have patient to hear what do I asking. I spent 1 hour to record my first interview, and spent 2 hours to record my second interview because I had to look at my dictionary. I think my listening, speaking, and vocabulary have improvement after I interviewed two students. I need to listen very carefully. Before I asked questions I had to think about how I can express my questions simply to understand. All in all, I had a good experience before. I look forward to my third interview.
